Ulwazi Lwethu African language readers and storybooks were developed by four expert literacy organisations who came together in a collaborative framework to design, develop and create the high-quality resources and teaching support materials that make up the Ulwazi Collection. These four organisations worked in their respective area of expertise, in partnership with the Zenex Foundation, to support the DBE’s efforts to encourage a thriving reading culture in all the languages of South Africa.
